Jessica Barfield McCoy serves as Community Development Director with a strong commitment to public service and community growth. With a passion for fostering meaningful connections and enhancing quality of life, she is dedicated to creating opportunities and experiences that support individuals and families of all ages.
Prior to joining the City, Jessica built an accomplished career in the private and nonprofit sectors. She served as Director of Sales and Marketing for Southern Davis Business Products and later held a leadership role with Face to Face RCO in Jesup, Georgia. Through these positions, she developed extensive experience in strategic planning, marketing, relationship management, and community engagement.
Jessica is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and currently serves as an active board member of Gardens of Hope. Her professional background, combined with her servant leadership approach, continues to positively impact the community she serves.
Jessica is married to her husband, Terry McCoy, and is the proud mother of two children, Millie Grace and Brayden, who inspire her dedication to helping families and communities thrive.
